Event Details

Join Opening Doors and Folk Collective artists Pamela Means, Anand Nayak, and Alastair Moock for an intimate, collaborative house concert in Cambridge, MA.

Pamela Means has been compared to Tracy Chapman, Ani DiFranco, a cross between Suzanne Vega and Jimi Hendrix, and an heir to the legacy of Nina Simone. She's “one of the fiercest guitar players and politically-rooted musicians in the industry today" (Curve Magazine), who has worn a hole in two of her guitars with her "insanely brilliant" (Press Herald, Portland ME) playing and “stark, defiant songs.” (New York Times).

Anand Nayak is a multi-instrumentalist singer, songwriter, and GRAMMY-nominated producer. He performs throughout the US and Canada with folk band Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem, has written and produced GRAMMY-nominated children’s records, and music for television, indie-folk and rock records. He has accompanied singers and musicians of all kinds on festival stages, concert halls, living rooms, and in the studio.

Alastair Moock is an award-winning singer-songwriter, GRAMMY-nominated family musician, social justice and songwriting educator, and co-founder of The Opening Doors Project. The Boston Globe calls Alastair “one of the town’s best and most adventurous songwriters.” The Washington Post says “every song is a gem.”
